Once upon a time, I was a cover boy for Dairy Goat Journal and Country Roads Magazine. Mother Earth News was a popular nationwide magazine and young couples dreamed of owning a farmstead in the mountains. I lived that dream, but it was stolen from me. Now with the imminent collapse of the economy this winter, those skills just might mean the difference in the survival of my significant other and myself - if I had a significan other.
